Have a Try

Junior Training Sessions take place every Friday from 4.30 – 6.45pm and Taster Sessions are arranged throughout each year.

The Club also holds Open Days, where visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunities to try for themselves and find out more about the Club and the sport.

Simply contact the club or view our Events Calendar to find out when the next appropriate session will take place and look forward to being introduced to a new and exhilarating sporting challenge.

Child Protection

The Falcon Bowling and Social Club takes the care and safety of all its members and visitors very seriously.  In addition to the club and membership rules already in place, the club has also taken the responsible steps of implementing a Child Protection Policy and appointing Allan Taplin as the Club's Child Protection Officer, who oversees the provisions for all the young members and visitors.

These provisions are in place to assure parents and carers that the children in their care are entering a safe environment and suitable considerations have been put in place to accommodate the specific needs of children.  The Child Protection Officer, Allan Taplin, is always happy to discuss child protection related matters and is enthusiastic to ensure the visiting children feel comfortable and confident to be part of the club.

Competitions

The Falcon Juniors regularly play against other clubs or are integrated in to some of the other leagues at Falcon.  Several also play in County and National competitions and represent Essex County.

Developing Interest

By opening up both the indoor rinks and outdoor greens to the Junior Members, the club supports their playing development through regular training exercises, singles  matches and engaging games sessions with its team of coaches.

The players are also given the opportunity to compete in friendlies and inter-club matches, helping to nurture their playing performance with goals and targets, whilst at the same time expanding the important social benefits that are part of being a member of a team.
