We are also particularly pleased to extend this invitation to junior players, enabling families to become involved together - in fact, our current Junior Members already include grandchildren of some of our adult league members, providing an enjoyable activity that can be shared across the generations.

Whether you are making your first enquiries or are just relatively new to bowling, The Falcon Bowling and Social Club is here to assist you in developing your interest.  We offer special Taster Sessions for those curious about the sport, whilst our team of coaches are available to offer regular coaching sessions to help you develop your technique and skill levels.

Our wide variety of club leagues means that once you feel it’s time to progress, there will always be a league available to suit your playing requirements, offering a selection of opportunities to participate in friendly or competitive matches.

Every Friday evening the club runs introductory sessions where interested players and non-players can come together and find out more about this engaging sport and what the club can offer its members.  All necessary equipment (including shoes and bowls) and guidance by our experienced coaches is offered free of charge.

'Bowls for Beginners' Course

From September each year the club will be offering a certified course - 'Bowls for Beginners’ - where newcomers to the sport can benefit from valuable advice and consultation from our resident coaches.

The course includes 3 sessions, each of 2 hours long, with our qualified coaches.  The course is aimed to help develop your game skills, understanding of the rules and general game strategy.

Simply contact the club to find out when the sessions will be scheduled, book your place and turn up at the required time – simple, accessible and a great way to find out more about bowls.
